I believe Thomas will surprise all of us! One week at the new school and he is showing an interest in reading! Maybe he will figure the scanner thing out and show me! lol. <strong>His award reads: </strong> Though new and here only a few days, He has impressed us and begun to teach us new ways. His smile is bright, like the sun And you can tell he likes to have lots of fun. He is generous and kind to his friends And we are so glad this is just the beginning not the end! For these reasons we are proud to present the Welcome To Manville award to Tommy. Imagine that, this is the little boy nobody wanted to take. I know what that did to me as a mother. Thank God, it didn't do the same to him. My precious boy! Sail on!!! Ah yes, challenged I am! I believe Thomas will surprise all of us! That is a hard place to be and when I was teaching I worked with many students in that place (I worked special ed and with the severe disabilities that others didn't like to do.) And middle child is a ripper. She rips everything she gets her hands on (except books because she loves reading them) but when stressed she will rip whatever is on hand into the tiniest scraps and not even notice it. Sigh.
